Fondant cake for 13 year old

Zahra's birthday cake

Zahra had her birthday in February and she being "queen" Zahra insisted on a 3 tiered cake which I managed to assemble and decorate albeit it looked like it was going to fall!! The three tier cake made up of a 10 inch cake, 8 inch cake and a 6 inche cake. Ofcourse the cakes were made out of our signature rich chocolate cake, layered in choc ganache, and a cake of this style and size would cost $280.00.

We have other cake flavours on offer such as butter cake, lemon sponge cake, chocolate banana cake, strawberry cake, tiramisu torte .. also we can offer different fillings such as peanut butter cream, lemon curd, strawberry meringue buttercream, chocolate mouse.

3rd Birthday

We made these cute cupcakes for little Siena's 3rd birthday, balloons, teddy bears and butterflies and all things nice for a cute little girl. Our chocolate cake had a fairy and more ballons with star sprinkles. A chocolate this size is 8 inches and costs $30, whereas medium cupcakes are $1.20 each.

Natalie's 2 tier cake

This was really fun to do, a garden themed birthday cake which was two tierd for Natalie. The cake was decorated with fondant butterflies, ladybirds, magic toadstools, grass and flowers. The bottom cake was a 10 inch round cake and top cake was 8 inch round cake, I really cannot recall what flavour it was - but we have several flavours and fillings, rich chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, carrot, orange to name a few.

Little Pet Shop theme

I think Dila was pleasantly surprised with her birthday and cupcakes in the Little Pet Shop theme. We couldn't draw most of the characters on the mini cupcakes so were limited to only a couple of characters, paw prints and LPS logo as well as flowers on the cucpcakes, but we managed to draw the frog and monkey on the chocolate cake- as ever under the watchful eye of my fiercest critique, my daughter Zahra!!

The birthday package of 8 inch chocolate cake and 49 mini cupcakes cost $60.00 and we need at least 2-3 days notice for this type of order.

Fondant handbag cake

We did this tall chocolate cake and after layering it with chocolate ganache, we decided to cover it with fondant in the shape of a handbag. We did it for our dear Usuh on her birthday. Fondant covered cakes start from $50 and a cake of this size is around 2kg. Also please bear in mind we need at least 1 week's notice for cakes with this kind of decor. We don't get many orders for Doraemon themed cupcakes so we enjoyed drawing this on our 8 inch chocolate cake for a change accompanied with the baby themed cupcakes on the sides. 3D Cupcakes

3D cupcakes are becoming a popular request for us nowadays, as well as fondant cupcakes. Personally we are not great fan of fondant due to the taste, but hey, they sure look great! This birthday celebrant apparently had great difficulty in cutting his cake as he thought it was just awesome! Thanks for the order Yasmeen! Ben 10 again!!

Spongebob Squarepants Birthday Cake!

This was our attempt at making a spongebob themed cake and cupcakes. The cake is 8 inches and weighs 1 lb ( around 2kg) and there were 49 cupcakes surrounding the cake. An order like this would cost $60. We hope Dania liked them!

Serina's Birthday!

Our niece Serina recently had her birthday and she wanted a chocolate cake with 'the works'!!  So since she is a young teen, we added lots of pink swirls - making it sweet yet fun as well.  The 'works' (cupcakes!!) was whimsical, cheery and cute!  Hope you had a great time Serina!

Iman's Doll In A Swimming Pool Cake!

A few weeks' ago, our niece Iman had her 6th birthday.  She wanted something special - a doll in a swimming pool!  We were a bit worried as to how to make the "water" realistic - so we decided to add jelly!  For the 'rocks' around the pool, we had used profiteroles with fresh cream in them.  Fyi, it is a chocolate cake  underneath all the cream!  It was great fun to make and a big hit with the children at the party!
