We just want to say thanks!!

For all the orders that we have had since we started this barely a fortnight ago, we have to say a big heartful thank you!! We hope the orders are what you expected them to be (and more!! ). Seriously we have got some orders filling the weeks ahead, and some exciting 'tie-ups' planned. We are really excited about this and we just wanted this entry to say ' thank you y'all ' for all the orders, comments, tips, support and the initial 'push'. We hope it will be a long, fun, food-filled road ahead and we hope you will be with us every step of the way!!

Chicken Pie

Our chicken pies are made using puff pastry and real chicken breasts cooked in a mushroom sauce with cubes of potatoes. It comes in two sizes and this is the larger size. The mini chicken pies costs $0.50 and the large chicken pies cost $1.00 each. There is a minimum order of 24 pieces.

Mars Bars Cheesecake

Our Chilled Mars Bars Cheesecake is made with real mars bars and laced with caramel and chocolate! For those with a sweet tooth this is a must try. It was a real hit with Salwa's family and we have recieved repeat orders!! Thanks Wa!

The Classic Cheesecake

The ultimate comfort food for many!! This is a classic recipe that is loved by many. The cheesecake seen here was demolished within minutes, alas without even a morsel for us! Our prices ranges from $45 upwards pending on size and design. For orders and queries, email us at the usual address!

MiniPavlovas

Sometimes pavlovas are a lot easier to eat and serve when made individually like these mini pavlovas. No mess with the cutting up and easier to count when it comes to family functions, although I am always short of them considering my son and nephews can eat more than 3 at one time! As always I only use the freshest of fruits in season and if there are no strawberries despite their availibility elsewhere in the world almost year round, I will substitute with purple dragon fruit for colour.

Pavlova Birthday Cake

At times we do birthday orders. Pavlovas are a definite refreshing and yummy favourite, very light and quite refreshing. This particular pavlova was decorated with strawberries, kiwi fruits and fresh cream. Other fruits that I sometimes use to decorate pavlovas are mangoes, peaches and grapes. I thought the chocolate drizzles would help compliment the white chocolate birthday template on the top of the fruits. A large pavlova of this size is approximately 14-16 inches large and is good for 10 persons (adults!). This particular pavlova costs $50, however without the template and chocolate drizzles it would be $45.

Cupcakes Galore!

Cupcakes using butter cream with simple designs and maximum of 3 colours, cake flavours- vanilla or chocolate sponge cupcakes. These are a favourite for family gatherings, birthday parties and simply to scoff on!

We can do simple designs in accordance to your preference and colour scheme. The ones shown above was ordered by the GoodEggs and there were raving feedbacks!

Kiddies Birthday Cakes

When it comes to birthday cakes, we always recommend our chocolate cakes (not simply because it is our favorite!) as it tastes good and it is always a hit with the young ones. So instead of having a headache of choosing where you can order your precious one's next birthday, give us a try and we guarantee that they will be asking for seconds!!

Prices for these types of cakes starts from $40 upwards, depending on the design and size. As usual folks, email us for orders and queries! And do note that we do need a couple of days advance notice for these orders.

Apple Custard Cupcake

Apple custard cupcakes, for those who love custard this is a must try cup cake. The custard is baked inside the cupcakes and therefore very moist and jellylike in the middle of the cake. With a sprinkling of icing sugar it is the perfect desert or tea time treat with or without cream! It comes in two sizes- Large or Mini.

This is an old family recipe that has been fine-tuned over the years. Easily friends and family can attest to this being an old time favourite dessert that emerges from our kitchen!! Of course we can produce a large size Carrot Cake but hey, cupcakes are so, the in-trend at the mo!! It comes in three different sizes – large, medium and small.

Mini Chocolate Eclairs

With gorgeous creamy chocalate cream in the eclairs, these babies are totally mouth watering and you can wolf several down in one sitting!! These particular eclairs were made for my mum's birthday celebrations recently and the BISTARI ladies really loved them! The eclairs are topped with chocolate ganache. The filling can be plain vanilla custard cream, or plain whipped cream or in this case chocolate custard cream.

Food is an important part of our family. No, it doesn't mean that some of us likes to cook whilst others like to eat!! For us, it is a way of getting together and spending time with one another. We enjoy experimenting with various foods from different cultures and countries, even more so when we 'hit' the right taste or smell! It is a daily part of our conversations and discussions, thus a norm to make pies, cakes or puddings; to roast, steam or bake various meats and vegetables.
