Amin's Chocolate Banana & Cream cake





This was created by my son Amin who tasted something similar at a famous eatery in Kuala Lumpur. Not to be outdone he decided to create his own version, which the whole family agreed is better tasting!!
Made using our rich chocolate cake, it is layered with fresh banana slices and slathered with chocolate cream, which is very mousse like. The cake is finally decorated with chocolate ganache drizzles.
We did the cake shown above, for Salwa, who celebrated her birthday during Puasa. A cake of this size would cost $60 (approximately 10 inches wide and about 3 inches high).  We can also do a smaller version of this cake (priced at $35).
